Just who is behind Dirty Money Music?
Just who is behind Dirty Money Music?
Vocals / Acoustic Guitar (Beer and tabs)
1979 - present day
Blessed with one of the finest voices imaginable and a brain over-flowing with songs, Mick is the heartbeat of Dirty Money; our fearless leader and a formidable consumer of Guinness and Curry.
Mick remains to this day the sole gatekeeper of the infamous Stealth Giraffe community of inner St. Thomas.
Bass (Low end string ticklier)
1979 - present day
Rick, the master of the low end most tickly bits, is widely regarded as one of the finest bass players around these parts (and most other parts as well).
Rick is the most solid of solid things, the warden of the low end, the man with the perfect touch. There are no styles that Rick can't play, providing they aren't too tricky.
Guitars / Mandolin (Noisy swine)
2016 - present day
In charge of the noisy loud bits, Jason revels in the prospect of inserting many of the right notes, and just as many of the wrong ones, into every song. Jason first jammed with Dirty Money in 1988, at the tender age of 15.
Jason may not have any hair, but he has got a beard.
Drums (Skin tub thumper)
2002 - 2014, 2019 - present day
Joe, who may be the Son of a Rick, but we never hold that against him. A truly outrageous drummer, he can not only keep time but also find a way of instantly changing the direction of a song on a whim. Just when we are comfortable in the song, there is every chance it may suddenly become a Reggae song, or a Rock song, dependent on his mood.
Joe has a cat called Jax, and to be honest, he's alright. For a cat.
Backing Vocals, Vocals, Acoustic Guitar (smash yer face in)
2013 - present day
Quite how Gary appeared on the Dirty Money stage no-one actually knows. Originally the band van driver, beer getter and general Ninja, it was discovered fairly quickly that Gary has a excellent voice for harmonising and appeared next to Rick with a mic.
Gary is a formidable Taekwondo champion, with those black belt things, but we prefer him in braces.
Damn, we are so photogenic...
